Two whole years! Can you believe that?! Neither can we! But here we are— two years older with TWO locations! Some might say this is when we should be growing up, straightening out, toeing the line. But we say “F*** that!” (Which for you old-timers is a call back to our very first show and our first birthday show—thanks for sticking around and finding out!) Anyways, what’s this show about?
It’s a diptych show. What’s a diptych show, you might ask? Simple: two pieces. They can complement or contrast each other. Your call. Just help us understand how they fit together. As for the subject matter?
Submit your rebellious stuff, your punk stuff, your edgy stuff, your most celebratory and ecstatic stuff! We’re looking to have fun and we want to see that limit-pushing shit. We’re looking for beautiful, thoughtful, well-crafted pieces that push the artistic limit and further the conversation, whether that’s through medium, composition, subject matter, or whatever is going through your creative brain. Hell, maybe you even challenge the notion of a diptych! Two “R. Mutt” toilets anyone?! What do you want to try? Do it! Pleeeease! Unbutton another button and let your freak flag fly. We want to see your work and we want to celebrate it. The only thing we ask is that you make it cool–times two.
