“What We Believe In”

🎈WHAT WE BELIEVE IN 🎈opening October 9 in Bud’s Room at Base Camp 2, is a solo show by @elleglasseart about symbols, flags and altars, and what roles they play in our everyday lives. This show takes these totems as a guide and re-imagines them using textiles, installation, poetry, film, and music.

The exhibit questions where we put our loyalty and what we should worship. Elle Glasse’s work is molded through a feminist multimedia lens. In this show, she explores her own up bringing and the state of the world by creating spaces where the audience can interact with these ideas through multiple mediums.

Opening Oct. 9th during @belltownartwalk with special Super 8 film showing cyclical splitting and performance of “Marry Your Self.”

Closing Oct. 24th during @seattledowntownartwalk with songs and performance of “Bend Backwards.”
