HEAR YE, HEAR YE: it’s an “Animal Farm” exhibit at Base Camp Studios! Gather ‘round all ye’ pigs, sheep, horses, cows, chickens, and other barnyard critters for this group show opening on Friday, July 11 at 2407 1st Ave during @belltownartwalk! 🐖 🐑 🐴 🐄 🐓

We have bucolic scenes with beloved farm animals. But also animals donning extravagantly patriotic attire, wielding pitchforks, and demanding the end to the injustice du jour. Imagine Old MacDonald in the middle of the French Revolution or a 4H Conference at Independence Hall in 1776.

We have idyllic sheep in gentle, rolling meadows AND revolutionary pigs. Majestic horses AND prize-winning hogs giving a stump speech. We have baby chicks 🐣 And cows kicking down the barn door. 🐮 In other words, “all animals are equal, but some animals are more equal than others.”
