It’s Hip Hop’s birthday! This year marks 50 years of turntables, melodic bars, b boys, graffiti and dope colorful rap music. Base Camp Studios would like to have you join us as we pay homage to Hip Hop with “An Ode to Hip Hop”, one of the finest genres in music. The theme of the show is timeless hip hop. Think Eric B and Rakim, Dougie Fresh and the Get Fresh Crew, Tupac, Jay Z, Nas and A Tribe Called Quest. Let’s join forces and create a celebration of Hip Hop as it reaches the half century milestone. This is a group show. We want to showcase our hip hop loving artists who want to show in Belltown's most vibrant up and coming gallery. Artists of all mediums are highly encouraged to apply. Apply at bit.ly/OdetoHipHop

All submissions must be complete by Friday, June 16th.

Show will open on Saturday, July 8th.

@belltownartwalk will be on Friday, July 14th.

Closing reception will be on Saturday, July 29.

Submissions will be juried by a three person panel consisting of artist: @_kingspen, @ramonalee.us and @njferdererart.
