Black Like Me

Love is not just a word, it requires action. When someone says that they love you or that they love something what does that truly mean? What I attempt to portray through my art is just that. Love! The memories of my childhood, the family gatherings, the music that has played in the background and has become a soundtrack of my life. This is what I hope you’ll experience when you view my art. Let your sense of sight aid in spiraling back to memories where you can relive the love that seems to be so fleeting in the world we now reside in. I find myself consumed with this love when I create. It makes me happy, it gives me hope. My intent is for it to do the same for you as you realize that you are Black Like Me.
